Family Roots
LoCicero Health is the third generation of a family tradition: Following in the footsteps of her father, Tampa nephrologist Felix LoCicero, M.D., Karon LoCicero, M.D. opened an internal medicine practice in the heart of Tampa’s Hyde Park neighborhood in 1988. She expanded her practice in the early 2000s to include specialist physicians, a laboratory, and diagnostic services. In 2021, Karon’s daughter, Britney Galantino, M.D., has joined the practice as the head of our Behavioral Health Department.
